To whom it may concern (if anybody).

My family and I are relocating to the BOP, Papamoa region in January 2009. We have residence visas but no jobs yet.

I am currently employed in the chemical industry as a Process Technician on a large manufacturing site and have been for the last 20 years. Having been in touch with several companies in the area I have received some positive feedback, particularly from Ballance and was wondering are any members of the forum employed by this company or know of anyone who is, as I would be interested in some feedback if possible.

I live in papamoa but dont think i know anyone that works there , i will enquire at work on monday for you , they are one of the biggest companies in the mount so i should be able to gather some info.

I have had a look at the site on Google earth and it does look reasonably big hence my question. There must be some people on this forum that work there.

I have a contact at the Company who is an Engineer at the Mount Maunganui site and I would be happy to have a word with him to find out the best way forward for you, who to contact in H.R., what they're like to work for as a company, whether they're looking for Process Techs, etc.
