Just want to express my happiness. :) I have not been on the forum a lot lately with all the things to organize and all kinds of stuff happening in the family and I did not think that we would ever go but we arrived in Papamoa (BOP) three days ago and I love it!!!

It is so good to be back (now that it stopped raining ;)). Last year we went for a month as my BH had never been to NZ and afterwards I could not wait to go back and start our new life but BH had severe doubts (she still has some...). It was hard with me wanting desperately to go and her having all these extremely reasonable doubts and arguments.

Not the best time to go I guess (although the exchange rate Euro - NZ dollar is great) but we are here and we are happy! Looking at houses now and oh my what you can get is just amazing. Yesssss.

Welcome to NZ. I'm only just a little way down the road from you in Rotorua and we're loving life here. Like you my hubby was the prime motivator to move out here, I had loads of very practical doubts, but right now it feels like moving here was the best thing we ever did. Even if all the Christmas stuff does feel very weird in the summer.
I hope that you settle in well, and that you find a great house.
