When I first moved country, it didn't feel real until my plane left the runway at Gatwick. Sad to say, but it hit me quite hard then because I knew I would miss my country as its lights below dwindled into nothing.
Still, no regrets though! It's been a blast so far!

Once you get Christmas out of the way it will start to feel VERY real when you are counting in days and hours instead of weeks!!
Best of luck

Oh it feels weird alright!! :-O Scary stuff.....the house is a tip, boxes and bits everywhere. Trying not to think about it over the weekend though. Got my works Christmas doooooooooo tonight which will be very emotional, got the waterproof mascara at the ready! So much to do next week, get rid of all the bits we don't want, put everything we do want in one place.....Oh, and 'do' Christmas and the catchy uppy with friends thing! Don't think our feet will be touching the ground much?
24 n a bit days now!! :clap

Blimey, sounds like us! Only difference is my 'works do' will be the kids Christmas party on Wednesday at the nursery I worked at with 20 or so children and their parents there as well. Been invited to join in and so I can say bye to my little ones I've looked after over the last few years...that will be a real choker for me! shippers are in 18/19th Dec so moving into MIL house down the lane for the last couple of weeks before we leave on the 30th. Now that will make me feel weird as we will have to drive past our house everyday.
Good Luck with everything, its gonna be worth it!:nice1
