Yep! It's been 2 weeks now since son and I left Glasgow to join OH in Wellington.
We have got a nice but small place in Island Bay and enjoying it sooo much I think I'm still in holiday mode at the moment:D:
Our 5 year old seems to be enjoying himself as well he keeps asking when his accent is going to change and when out walking he likes to take his shoes off and asks if he is a Kiwi yet! :D We've got him registered in Island Bay school for the new term.
OH doesn't have job yet but we're feeling hopeful I just hope something comes up soon, he has manage to get a wee casual job for a week IT work cash on hand which the $$ will come in very handy.
Well what do I think so far:
The weather has been great/ The people have soooo nice here we've had new neighbors loan us stuff introducing themselves and even getting invites to party's and lunch. The scenery is breathtaking I don't think I'll be fed up with that
We've put up our Christmas tree but I must admit I cant even think of Christmas as it doesn't feel like it and we still not sure what to do for Christmas day :uhoh

I know 2 weeks is still too early to know if we're going to enjoy it, but we'll give it our best go as I know what I've seen so far even with our wee scare with son things have been great so far we 3 seem to be settling in just nicely :D

Wow, how exciting, we'll be there in 3 weeks too!! Looking forward to getting my 2 weeks done, seems a very long way off! What has been the biggest surprise over there? was it what you expected, or had you been before?
