I satisfy all the conditions for citizenship and was going to apply a couple of months ago - but a very expensive flight ticket delayed it until after Christmas.
Now we're booked for a trip back to the UK in late April next year and I'm wondering If I have time to get my citizenship before we go.

I think I'm a fairly straightforward case - PR, good earning job, no police record - not even any traffic violations (touch wood). Does anyone have any exeprience of how long the citizenship process takes ?

It says here http://www.bdm.govt.nz/diawebsite.nsf/wpg_URL/Services-Citizenship-Citizenship-by-Grant-Frequently-Asked-Questions?OpenDocument that it usually takes six months. There's a lot of other useful information there too, that I imagine might affect when you decide to apply, like what documents they need, etc..
