Well I got the wonderful approval in principle email today!:bluebanana

Now all that is left to do is submit the final version of my PhD thesis, sell the car and the couch, pack up and store the things I'll be bringing to nz, donate everything else, pack up for my Montreal, Peru, Bolivia trip and if I can squeeze it in, buy a Christmas gift for my niece, before I leave Calgary monday night. 3 days, it will be CRAZY, but definitely exciting and totally worth it.

Congratulations!! It sounds like you are going to have an awesome start to the new year!! Where in NZ will you be settling?

I will be settling in Hamilton at the end of March but will be travelling the South Island for a month before then.

I wil also be looking to buy a car when I get to Christchurch on Feb 21, so if any of you know someone that has a fuel efficient hatchback or small station wagon car with fairly low mileage to sell around that time let me know!
