I picked up my ITA on Saturday (yays!). However on reading the documents, I've found a very minor error from when I submitted the EOI (I believe due to the fact that it was a drop down and scroll, and because the website was taking up to five minutes to register a key stroke...) - it says that I started living in the UK on the 30/6/1981, when it was actually 9/6/81 (when I was born...) I will change this when I return the ITA, but as there isn't a block for it on the "Additional Information" form, is it best to put this in the cover letter, or to cross out and correct on the print out of the EOI?

Thanks in advance! :nice1

I think the ITA has a section where you can list all the changes you need to make if the information on your EOI has changed.

I know because I did the same mistake with my work experience dates.

Cheers - I'll have another look through the documents - I started reading them then got a little bit freaked out...

yeah no don't worry about it, the same thing happened with me, it said i started living in South Africa (Country I was born in) on 30th of march when in fact i was born on 4th of March so they have me living in no-where land for 20 odd days when I was just born. I think it's an error with the system (did the same thing for my husband).
We just crossed it out on the ITA form and in the section at the end for amendments and addition information, we added the correct date, I don't think it will make any difference as it's clearly a mistake.

Yeah...don't worry about it, we have a few changes to make on ours. One of which is my MIL's date of birth...she was born in 1952 but they have it as 1900! :laugh:laugh:laugh

Similar here, born in November, but they had me living in the Netherlands from January when I wasn't even conceived :)

And yes there is a sheet where you can enter all your changes. I think most of us have made a mistake here or there...

:D Not yet! I get on with her so don't want to offend but I thought it was hilarious, I think she would find it funny too though. Had it been my FIL...now that's a different matter! I would take great pleasure in telling him his "apparent" age since talking about NZ with him is such a no no! :laugh
