Dear all, complement of the season.

Just to tell you that I managed to get a job interview and have few questions for you!

God knows how, but sure it's a mirracle I got this job interview coming up soon because I've tried many applications without interview.

1. My concern is that, the HR said they'we encouraged by my cv. What could this mean? The prospective employer is AgResearch. They said there's a possibility of inviting me to NZ for formal interview and assessment but telephone interview first.

2. Any person here having experience with this employer and any gist on preparing for the telephone interview?

3. I remained worry by the Immigration New Zealand's attitude towards my application; they said they were still doing third party verification checks and would contact me if they need any thing from my directly. I don't know why it's taking so long. In any case, I'm a believer - It's well!

Merry Xmas and Happy New Year 2009 in advance.

the HR said they'we encouraged by my cvI can't see anything ambiguous about that. Your qualifications and experience must make it look as if you are very much what the job demands.:nice1

Point 3 - waiting for officialdom, the natural default state is to be worried. We are NEVER going to know what takes them so long. It may be absolutely NOTHING to do with the applicant whatever - your application is 999th out of a pile of 1000 passed to that desk the day you were informed you had a CO, your CO has used up their four weeks' accumulated holiday since you were assigned, your CO's boss has been in hospital for the last three weeks and s/he has been trying to do two people's work to fill in... Like you say - the only thing to do is to stay positive and look on the bright side.:)

Congratulations on being asked for the interview, and good luck.:nice1

Good luck, fingers crossed, usually with any job a good comment about your cv sounds very promising.
