Anyone had to send documents from the UK to NZ, i.e. employment contracts? They arrived via DHL and I was wondering whether this was the most cost effective way of returning signed documents. Or whether you'd used better methods? Any experiences to share? Thanks

We had to send various precious documents - qualifications, birth certificate for translation etc, and used DHL each time. I was delighted with their service and used their counter in my local Staples to send items.

It was crazy because for us to send a dhl envelope to NZ was $140 Canadian, but when they sent stuff back to us, it was about $30. So I don't know what is up with all that.

Royal Mails Airsure is good too for paperwork, cost us about £10 to send our EOI back to agents in NZ. Found their service equally as good as DHL (use both for my business) but cheaper, however their on line tracking isn't as detailed as DHL (IMHO) and it only tells you once it has been signed for at the other end.
