Hi,

this is a question on behalf of my new partner, who currently teaches drama in the UK in secondary schools (12-18 year olds). She has several years teaching experience and a degree in drama. She did a little bit of initial research into teaching jobs in NZ and was unclear whether all drama teacher roles would require teaching a secondary subject, which she does not have. Anyone out there know? What's the job market like? Any drama teachers out there?

I don't really know the answer but a girl I went to college with while in NZ is now an English and Drama teacher to the age group your partner is which would suggest the need for a secondary subject.

She's coming to London in April, maybe your partner could do a job swap :nice1
