Corbishleys

Well we are sat in the servisair lounge at Heathrow, and it is like a weight has been lifted off our shoulders.
The packing is done, the container has driven off & all the good byes have been said. Just got a brief 3 night sightseeing tour of LA and we will be in NZ.
I must say the packers have been really good so far, they had a few problems with motorways being closed on the way, but pulled out all the stops and got finished on time.
All the good byes have been never ending and really emotionally draining much more so than we ever expected.
We had a great send off in our local pub (was our sons place of work as well) it was busier than we ever expected and a real bitter sweet night.
If I could offer any advice about the goodbyes, it would be to arrange a big leaving party for everone you Know as close to leaving as possible, then the goodbyes dont go on for weeks like ours did
Anyway I had better go there is a free can of Fosters with my name on it in the fridge.
See some of you soon at the meet in ChCh
