I know we are not the only ones who have noticed that INZ London has not updated its website since early December. Here's the link: http://www.immigration.govt.nz/branch/londonbranchhome/tipsandprocessingtimes/skilledmigrantprocessingtimes.htm

This shows that as of Dec. 5, they were processing applications lodged on Sept. 23.

I don't suppose anyone in the forum has heard why this isn't being updated? maybe it came up during an interview...? Just thought I'd ask on the off chance that someone, somewhere knows something...

I should probably just do some breathing exercises and patiently wait my turn, right? :wah

Over a week ago, I sent them an e-mail as sort of a reminder that the processing times you have posted are way out-of-date and asking what the current processing times were. I got a response the next day that looked like it was cut and paste from the cover letter I got with my ITA stating essentially that it can take up to 4 months to get a CO, and 1-3 months for a CO to handles your case.

I guess I should have been more direct and simply sent "UPDATE YOUR PROCESSING TIMELINE WEBPAGE!! - DON"T YOU KNOW PEOPLE CHECK THAT THING EVERYDAY WONDERING IF THEIR ITA HAS BEEN LOST FOREVER IN A BUREAUCRATIC PROCESS BLACKHOLE!!"

Actually, sending that would have probably got my application slipped to the bottom of the pile:)

About time!!!

"Once the pre-populated application form is returned to the London branch it should be allocated to a visa officer within four months. As an example, for the week ending 23 January 2009 we are allocating files lodged up to and including 27 October 2008."

Looks like we might have a CO now!! We were lodged on 23 Oct so we are under the cut. So far, we have heard nothing yet but hopefully no news is good news.

Yes, I submitted my application on 22 Oct and had a note from my assigned case officer on 23 January. This is for skilled migrant route with no job offer.

I'll stop checking my NZIS status every day then and put my feet up. I suppose I can always do more sorting, or write another to-do list..... :-(

We submitted on 17th November so maybe we'll have a case officer in three weeks time.

OH is the primary applicant and has worked in IT (various sorts, mainly software development, I think, but I'm not a techie, it's gobledegook to me) for about 20 years. He has an honours degree that includes computing and maths. He also has a niversity level Certificate in Web Applications Development gained last year. I have an honours degree (gained last year) which gives us extra points and I have a kiwi (half) brother which also gives us some points.
