OH has a job offer to start in March but we're hoping to extend that to June

We'd like to send in our eoi asap (hopefully for the jan 14 pool) tho that may be too optimistic seeing as you are a day ahead (lol)

On the page after you tick you have a job offer the first question asks
what is your main occupation in nz (but we're not there yet!?)
do we answer it as if we were?
employer contact info....presuming they mean nz future employer contact?

Question TWO

If we submit eoi now (or very soon) and arrive in June without PR finalized for some reason (say ITA submitted but not processed for example).....do we have to come back to Canada to complete the process or can the final steps be done from nz ?

One More Question...
Taxation number (we're Canadian) isn't that just our SIN number?
It asks for the Social Security number as well.....so we put in our sins twice?

You wouldn't have to come back to Canada, no. Worst case you'll be sending everything back and forth to London (The immigration office here told me that London is faster than NZ for some things)
Not sure about answering the questions, but I'd do it as you have guessed with future employer details and so on. Just enter your SIN once in the taxation number slot.

I thought I remembered a post by someone that had started the process and moved to nz before it was done and that had caused problems...but I don't remember the details.

(doing this eoi on a dial-up-connection is taking a LOT longer than I'd thought!)
