Hello Everyone,
apologies if this has been covered before, can anyone help clarify how long each of the stages take, and assuming you pass all the stages.......how long do you have before you have to move to New Zealand.......i.e. doing the quick test on the web site I score 120. Iam just about to but in my EOT...........but don't want to move to NZ until next year...........or maybe even in two years time...........is this allowable.

Is it a case of spending a certain amount of time in NZ during a certain period..........i.e. 2 yrs within a 5 yr period???
If your wondering why I want to do this.............basically because i would like to take advantage of the low points level at the moment, but also want to stay here in HK and have money to settle with.
Thanks :nice1

Hi Pezhk,

I'm not sure if our timing is applicable to you. I believe it all depends on the load of the branch that you'll be assigned to.

Our EOI was selected in September. 3 months later (Dec.), our ITA was delivered. We submitted the application last week (our deadline is 4 months after receipt of ITA pack). We are expecting to be interviewed in bangkok (I guess it's a reqt in this part of the world) 6 to 8 weeks after. I still don't have an idea about the timing of our visa approval.

A fellow Filipino who was selected in Feb 2005 told me that a visa officer will be assigned to him in Sept. That is 4 months longer that ours. The volume of application is definitely bigger this time.
