A potential employer has asked to use my CV in a presentation, even though they've yet to make me an employment offer.
Obviously, I'm flattered, and I did not object (of three telephone interviews I've had, they are by far my preferred employer). However, even though I hope that we come to terms early next week, it strikes me as a bit of a risky move on their part (proposing me for a role in a project when I'm still halfway around the world). Is this common in NZ? It's common enough here in the US, but only with local candidates, and only after a hire has been agreed (in principle, at least).
