Well we have been in NZ just over a week and so far we are loving it, to be honest we have been treating it as a bit of a holiday until Claire starts work.
So far we have driven over the southern alps and caught the train back
(beautifull !) to visit my cousin in grymouth for the weekend, we have had a good look around ChCh, visited sumner beach and been to Kaikora to go whale watching but it was cancelled due to strong wind, but we did share a beach with a seal colony which was nice.
We have also been busy doing sensible things as well, Claire has visited work for a look around, we have bought a car, sorted bank accounts, driving licences,IRD numbers, internet, phones and joined the library.
We now just have to find somewhere more permenent to rent so have just started to trawl through the real estate internet sites for houses.
Kids seem a little bit bored at times but hopefully this will be better when Emma 15 starts school & Jamie 19 gets some kind of work, but it has been nice spending so much time with them.
Anyway thats enough of my rambling, we will see some of you at the ChCh meet
Thanks
