How is this for my 100th post?
We leave tomorrow!!! :clap
I am EXHAUSTED! The last ten days have been non-stop non-stop ... but hopefully all is now done and we'll be able to chill on the plane. There is a great unreality about it all at the moment - I have been so immersed in organizing and arranging and closing accounts and saying goodbye that the fact that we'll be GONE tomorrow seems to belong to some other people ... and on top of all that, we said goodbye to my son this evening - he flew out of Cape Town on his way to London for a year's working holiday. I cried like a baby all the way home, a mix of sad and happy and proud tears .. am going to miss him so very much - and I guess that is how the people we'll be leaving behind here will feel about us tomorrow too.
Anyway, just to add a big THANK YOU to all the forumites who helped with bits of advice and encouragement and support - you made the journey thus far so much easier.
