chest x-rays returned?

We recently had our medicals (UK) and have had the results returned to us. This includes a section stating that our chest x-rays were perfectly normal. The x-rays themselves weren't included. We queried this and have been told that if your x-ray results come back normal, they don't send out the x-rays.

What are other peoples experiences in the uk in regards to this?

We recieved our x-rays back in the UK.

You don't send them in with your ITA, so it shouldn't matter.

Not from the UK but I thought I would answer anyway. :)

I got my X-Rays done in the US and I was not given mine, all came out normal. My hubby has a different doctor and he got his back. You do not need to send your X-Rays unless there was something abnormal found. If things are okay, you will not need them or need to send them. Hope this helps. :nice1

Hi,

I had an abnormal x-ray and my OH's was normal. When we got our medicals returned my OH didn't get his x-rays and I got mine given to me on a disk.

We went to London to hand in our ITA and the lady that was verifying it looked puzzled I'd included my x-ray and asked why it was there. I explained it was abnormal and so she kept it with the paperwork.

I think it will depend on the doctor. We got ours back on a disc with the medical and xray certificates. Both were normal.

We got ours back from our UK doc. And then I couldn't bear to get rid of them so I shiped them over with all of our stuff and they have pride of place in...errr... actually I think they're still in a box in the garage. :D

Hi Everyone. Thanks for all of the replies.
Certainly seems that as everything was normal, it doesn't matter that we haven't got the actual x-rays.
