We are right behind you. We are planning to send ours within the next few days. Hubby's doctor's office flubbed up majorly and lost his X-ray forms and making him them all over again at a different office!!:mad::eek:
Quick question, does the packet HAVE to be sent by DHL? Or could it be sent by another carrier like FedEx? Thanks in advance. :yes

We sent ours by FedEx no problems.
You could probably even use the mail if you were not concerned about time to arrival and not worried about your documents...is there anyone that relaxed? I don't think so! :D

Hi We are also in Cape Town and are using an agent who is trying to get our ITA application in before 10 Feb. Like you, we too were selected without jobs and will have to submit and wait and hope for the best. We will have an even longer wait as we will need a medical waiver for one of our children. We expect to hear from NZIS in a year! Someone else on the forum with a situation similar to ours had a 7 month wait with jobs to go to. There aren't many employers willing to wait that long, so we will have to hope that they really want us!! Where are you in Cape Town?

mcleanja, I noticed from you sig that your ITA was returned over 4 months after it's receipt. Is this correct? If so did you request an extension? The time limit from ITA issue and return is 4 months.

Hi jent
I really hope that I dont have to wait that long!!! We will be applying for jobs soon and that might speed up the process if we can get job offers. We are from the northern suburbs, durbanville area, were are you guys from?
Hi dougle00
In dec i requested and extension for my ita, cause some of the paper work was taking long, and good i did it cause my uk police certificates came late and then one was wrong which i waited 2 weeks for the new one which added more headaches, submitted soon as I got it.
They were very accommodating when requesting an extension on my ita, got a 2 month extension.
Cheers
Jamie
