dunno if anyone on here has used these as a partners bonus points. mrs v will be finishing her course soon and will have a quali of city & guilds nvq 2 which is the uk recognised full quali to be a hairdresser. inz have mentioned a part 1 and part 2 as part of their standard recognition but there is only 1 qualification with no parts (unless they class assessment and theory as 2 parts).

"The City and Guilds Part One and Part Two Certificates named below, together with evidence of a completed apprenticeship registered with a recognised industry body, are assessed as occupying Level 3 of the Register and will therefore qualify for 50 points.

Note: Visa and immigration officers must ensure that the Part Two Certificate is a full qualification (usually three components). Individual components of the Part Two qualification may be separately certificated. Most full Part Two certificates require completion of three components."

she will qualify in march/april but will not receive the certificate until after summer when they issue all the certs in the uk.

can we smack it on the eoi even if we havent got the docs to hand?
will she need experience to go with the quali's to qualify for the 20 points and if so how much and how do you verify it?

do not know if it applies but did she do apprenticeship with salon or full time college? If apprenticeship she will be OK and can use the years of working in the salon as experience and have a start date letter and job title from when she started as proof or payslips.

If she did full time college like me then her qualifications do not count for points. Bizarre I know.

only a full time job as an apprentice counts and going to college one or 2 days a week. not full time college and working weekends in a salon.
