Am just going thru the final bit of paperwork before submitting my ITA.

Anyway on my application it shows:

"you have not declared all of your family members. please ensure that you complete the application form in the family section by declaring your (and your partner's if applicable) family details including your parents, siblings and any other children that you have not included in this application"

so my question is before i go completely insane is WHAT???? i have put on my application my husband and two children, do i have to put my parents and sisters even though they are not coming with me? I just don't get it. Can someone please help me?

I think you are being asked to put down any other members of your families that you may potentially want to sponsor eventually for them to get out to NZ. We put down, mum, dad, step mum, step dad, sisters, nephews, nieces, brothers, and I think thats about it.

Thanks for the quick reply. I shall make sure I am around this forum a bit more. It seems a good place to get information.

AFAIK you are only expected to provide details for biological and adoptive parents, and full, half, step and adopted brothers and sisters, so you did actually fill it in properly.

It is worth filling this section correctly as it is a condition of the visa that the information provided is accurate, other members have had their ITA returned to them because they failed to fill it in correctly.

That's correct. I just put down all the relatives including cousines one time.
Scatty56, why don't you mention them all? It's free of charge :D

I didn't put any of my family on the form - I don't want them coming to live here, that's why I escaped :laugh
