thankyou.... not sure if it is exactly were I want to end up in NZ, it is Albany, from everything we have read we prefer the south island I think. But it is nice to see I am actually getting interest in my CV.

we were the same, wanting to be on the south island, but in the end, we had to go where the work was and we really just wanted to get to NZ. for us, there will be time to move the the south island when the opportunity arises in the future. we are just glad to be here.

And once you have NZ work experience and have PR you will probably find it easier to get another job in the same field in another part of the country.

ive used:
trademe
seek
nzherald
recruiters
direct to employers
reckon ive done 30 now and had a few favourables back so far. 70% not heard yet over the last 2-3 weeks. NZ seems to trundle along a bit slower than the UK or US is used to but ive been reliably informed that no news is good news!

Just curious,
I tried registering on TradeMe and I am not able to. The postal code from where I live (5 digits) will not work and the towns listed are no where near me. :laugh In the small print it reads only NZ and Aussie residents can register. Can I still look for work or apply for jobs on TradeMe without officially registering? Thanks in advance. :nice1

What you would need to do is look through the jobs section, then search for the same jobs advertised elsewhere on the internet (such as the company's website).

or use the email address on the bottom of the ad (its usually in small print)
