xray before medical?

Took my children in for their medicals today, and while there, got referrals to the radiologist (separate office, no panel docs in the US) for my husband and I. Our medical appointments are next week-
My question is, would it be a problem to have xrays done prior to the medical exam? I don't think it would matter, I just wouldn't want nzis rejecting it for some little bureaucratic reason that I'm not aware of. It would save us time as we wouldn't have to make a second trip back to the dr's to complete the paperwork.
Also, who do we contact with questions like these if we don't yet have a contact person at nzis?
thanks!

I don't think that it will matter... they sent our xrays to a tech and all NZIS needed was a letter from the tech saying you're good to go! (Haven't heard anything from NZIS yet so I think it ok)

We had our x-rays booked for the hour prior to our medicals in the hospital and the medicals were to be done at the clinic next door, but then the medical was postponed for a week due through no fault of our own. The Radiographer signed her part and sent our forms to the clinic to be seen the week after by the examining Dr during our medical. Obviously we have not submitted our ITA yet so don't know whether this will come back at us, but the doctor was fine with everything and it seemed just like normal practice.
Don't worry about it, but you can always email NZIS, I have always found they reply in just a couple of days and have found IMO that they are always very helpful

Just make sure that the X-ray tech takes your forms for the radiologist to fill out. Had a bit of a nightmare with US X-ray techs not having a clue what to do with the forms and having to have X-rays redone as a result (it's a law that if the forms aren't taken they can't append radiologist notes to the X-ray at a later date, so they told me anyhow).

oh good to know! i was hoping i could use very recent xrays already done to save money (and more radiation)....so it looks doubtful that will work
also hoping i can use already scheduled blood work results for the blood work i'm sure i'll need....(trying to get as much out of the free healthcare we have! lol)
