Hi all
Well we are nearly there and only 11 more days to go before our 4 weeks away. So much to organise still and now got to make a 400 mile round trip so my beloved siamese stays with his foster parents for 6 weeks. Just can't bear to leave him in a cattery as I think he would die of lonelyness!
Spending valentines night in Hong Kong and then on to Auckland. Really looking forward to exploring NZ and have a definate invite to visit my great Aunt who is now 98 and still doing well at a home in Christchurch. She left England when she was 11 and didn't see her other siblings for 71 years! She made the trip back to the UK around 15 years ago just before my grandma died. Their reunion made the front page of the local paper and it was so funny to see them together!
So much history including my dad who went to NZ on an assisted passage in the 50's but eventually returned home some 8 years later! Why you may ask? He was a avid cyclist and missed the country roads and quaint villages and tea shops.
Oh well we shall see; my O/H has never been so watch this space.
Hope anyone else who is planning to go soon has a safe and exciting trip.
