I am so excited! Got my WHV today!!! Technically I am good to go and could head to NZ tomorrow. But we are waiting for my hubby's new NZ passport and we have to finish our house projects and get it on the market. The house is the last step, I really hope it sells quickly and we get a fair price. But I'll worry about that tomorrow, I am too excited right now!!!

Thanks everyone!!! :raebanana:raebanana I am just so excited!! I want to book plane tickets so bad, but I really shouldn't since we don't even have our house on the market. We have a good month or more of projects to do around the house first. We are repainting and repairing a few things and doing a basic remodel of the kitchen. They should all help the house sell and help us get a fair price. I'm still so excited about getting approved!!! I got it fast too... 2 days. Now to lose weight and be ready for my medicals when I apply for PR. Everything else should be good to go.
EDIT: I have a question now. For some reason I just had a moment. With the WHV, it says the expiration date is Feb 2 2010. Is that the length of time I have to use it and once I am in NZ I get 12 months or is that the total time it is good for? I was under the impression I had 12 months to activate the visa and once activated I had 12 months in the country. Now I am not sure... Anyone have an answer? Thanks!!
