Is there any point in checking the NZIS website for the progress of my ITA six times a day...?!!!

I have a lodged date (12 Dec) and my medicals have been received (22 Dec.)

Will anything else change or do I have to check the phone six times a day for messages from a case officer...?

I'm trying to be patient, honestly. But it is sooooo exciting waiting for news.

I feel the same way as you do and really try to restrain myself. I usually check every couple of days. Be patient : one day that 'pending' message will have changed. Fingers crossed for us all that it's soon.

That pending message may never arrive. INZ are quite slow in updating it, you often hear from the CO well before the website has changed. Going on recent responses they are still dealing with applications from October so you might have a wee while yet :). Hang on in there, its one of the longest waits of your life ;).

I m surprised how will you wait if you was me.........

I submitted my ITA on 10th April 2008 and have checked the NZIS website more than 10 million times, the decision pending messege is there for 9 months now............

this is the longest wait of life..........

but i m hopeful and enjoying and have no rush going to NZ. If my application will approve then will start thinking about it.

I remember when we put our EOI through, also checked ALL the time. So does the decision succesful change to ITA Lodged?? And then Pending??

We are about to lodge :)

9 months!? yikes!

The London site says it's about a 2 month wait for a CO... and we will be heading to NZ before we have a CO most likely...

9 months is a shocker! I have only checked once today :-) I may need therapy to get me through.

Still, bought some $ this week, that's a step in the right direction.....

well, I sent my application in January 2009 and the status is Pending. Which status will it have when a CO is assigned?

I am guilty of checking at least twice a day. I have a job offer does anyone know how long it might take for mine to come through. Submitted mine 26th Jan.
