Hey all I was just wondering what happens after lodging the ITA? I mean we got the letter explaining that we will be allocated a CO etc, but I mean what will the CO want? Will he want more info? I know there could be an interview but not really read much about anything else that is requested.

Thanks for any advice.

After lodging the ITA you'll wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and wait:wah and then one day the 'pending' sign will change and you will be allocated a case officer. Have a look at the question threads on here and you'll see what you might be asked. It will probably take around 3 - 4 months for this to happen unless you have a job offer. Once you are appointed a case officer and had your interview, your status will change again to 'decsion successful' hopefully and you'll be able to get your blue stickers for your passport. Then you're on your way. Easy! (Well, it would be if we all had the patience of Saints:))

Lol, thanks Icemaiden, sounds like waiting is the order of the day and not much else information required.

We are in the fortunate position of not wanting to rush anyway. I have just got a good paying job so want to spend some time saving before we go.

Cheers
