Hi there
I'm sure someone be able to settle my nerves! I have sent in my plumbing qualifications to be assessed and received a call to say I now have to do a phone intervew for about an hour. What will this be about, and what sort of questions do they ask?

congrats for securing an interview. Although the approach may be different but I recently had a telephone interview with an accredited employer that last for more than an our. in the panel, the managers asked lots of questions on technical issues; the human resources asked questions about the challenges and how I managed a situation at work. In all the questions were practical and personal as in I was asked to tell how I as individual handled a situation rather than how my team worked. They later asked me to come over to NZ for further assessment. Another idea is that, when they will give you opportunity to ask them question, ask intellegent questions that will show u're enthusiastic about the role such as what would be your first task if employed and how soon would they expect you to be contributing significantly in the role. Finally, ask for the job. All the best.
