Hi,

I'm hoping to make the move to Christchurch from dreary Norwich in September and was hoping someone might be able to help with some views on the IT market.

I work as a systems/business analyst (I've also done some project management) with around four years experience designing bespoke web applications for financial institutions here in the UK. I'll be looking to do the same type of role in Christchurch, but I'm not sure how likely I am to find a job.

If anyone has experience of the job market in C'church It would be great to hear from you. Is C'church a good choice, or would I be better off starting in Auckland.

If you are in IT then you would be better off looking in Wellington or Auckland, this seems to be where most of the IT jobs are and the wages tend to be higher there as well. Coming from the Norwich area myself i much preferred Wellington to Auckland but its Courses for Horses as to where you prefer to live.
