Hi,
Is any one can advice...
I received my IQA today and rest of the documents are ready to pack and send ITA in end of feb hopfully.
As I have a job offer and my NZ employer needs me as soon as I get blue sticker. We are expecting our new baby in first week of May.And I hope I will get confirmation of acceptance for PR in end of april maximum (I guess).
As after having blue sticker we must enter within three months (correct me if I m wrong). Can I slip first alone and rest of the family members join after 4 to 5 months there in NZ? and How to process this?

I think you each have 12 months to activate your PR visa.
The children and I may travell a month after my Hubby.

You are wrong, if you have a job offer as part of your PR application then you have 3 months to take up the job offer on entering NZ. As said by others you have 12 months to enter NZ to activate your PR after it has been issued.

Yes Ian is right, as long as you have claimed points for the job in the EOI/ITA, you are require to take up the offer in 3 months and stick to the job/employer for atleast 3 months i guess.
I suppose it would be fine for you to fly first and then your family joins in slowly, INZ would be able to advice you on it... your ITA is just submitted so it would give you some breather to plan things out.
all the best for the baby and good luck in NZ.

Close but not quite right - you have 7 months to fulfill your Section 18A requirements. As this means working in the job for which you were granted points for 3 months, pratically this means you should be in country and working within 3 months (leaving a bit of time to sort out the paperwork as it were). So the effect is the same.

I asked this question to department of labour and they replied as
""Once you are issued a Residence visa you are generally given 12 months to enter New Zealand to activate the Residency .
But you will need to check the visa once issued to see when the Residence visa will expires. So you can travel to New Zealand to activate the Residency anytime up until the visa is valid . So you would not have to travel together"" .
