Is it normal to declare money at the Auckland airport, till now I could not find a suitable way to transfer my money. My relatives told me that it is normal to declare the money and justification is we are new migrants, I am still keeping salary slips from my employment from 2003.

Yes it is normal and required to declare monies.

Do they ask you a question probably being offence about the source of money ?
