Well we have made it to Heathrow Airport and are ensconced in our hotel room......still not feeling excited in fact still not feeling anything....it probably wont sink in until we are on that Air New Zealand flight tomorrow afternoon and leaving the runway heading for LA and then Auckland.

We have been in a wonderful holiday cottage in Somerset for the last couple of weeks after the container left and we handed over our keys to the new owners of our house and believe me it was definitely worthwhile as it gave us time to both rest and relax and gather our scattered wits along with being able to cross all the t's and dot all the i's with regard to various companies ensuring that we get no CCJs while we are away to keep our credit rating good and it was interesting to find that people owed us money so it wasnt all paying out. We got a £216 rebate from our Council Tax and our TV Licence yielded a £69 payback.........amazing as we paid it on monthly dd. There are other things too so we feel pretty good about what happened as far as clearing up our paperwork for the UK.

Leaving the dog at Golden Arrow was a guilt trip i didnt enjoy he looked up with those big brown eyes and seemed to be saying "dont leave me mum" but we have rang a couple of times and he seems to be having the time of his life with them. Been out chasing the ducks apparently and wanted to walk on the edge of the frozen lake......thankfully he was on the lead at the time. First bloods taken and results are clear so only one more set to do and he will be flying out on the 26 Feb, so looking forward to having him back.

We are now on the last round up and next time you hear from me we will be in NZ probably in Starbucks in Tauranga drinking coffee and tapping away.......unfortunately our holiday cottage doesnt run to wifi......:)

Thanks everyone for your advice, support and for just being you i dont think we would have made it without all the wonderful help that we have had from this site..........:nice1

Good luck with the last leg of your journey! The sun is shining here in Tauranga, it's beautiful. We've been here 2 weeks now and have also had many coffees in Starbucks whilst using their wifi!
