I need some information for a friend who has self packed a container which is due into Wellington early march. He has been given an agents name but they are trying to lead him up the garden path, telling him the container has to be unpacked at port, put inot bays and items for MAf inspected there, then repacked into a truck to be delivered, etc. He has spoken to the shippers in the uk who say no it doesn't have to be unpacked, so he is wary of using those agents.

So the question is, has anyone used an agent in Wellington they can recommend? The container is to be delivered to a house in Palmerston North, no problems getting the truck with the container on, to the house so no need for the goods to be removed from the container or the seal broken till it is delivered.

Any advice much appreciated.
