To stave off my impending madness yesterday, I decided to update my profile on the NZIS website (the bit where you can fill in your contact info and etceteras). I tried submitting the form twice, and both times I got the handy and infamous "Sorry, our website is currently unavailable. If you require immigration related information you can call our National Contact Centre" message.

Twenty-four hours later, I have just tried it again, with the same results.

What on earth is the point of having a website in the first place?...

(Yes, for the record, I am INCREDIBLY moody today, lol.)

Er, go for a walk while they've got the tech guys in to fix the problem?:exit

Oh it's not only about this specific time, it's just that it seems like 50% of the times I've tried to log on to their site, I get the same message. That's why we had to process my partner's WHV on the antiquated paper forms last year - every time we tried to do it electronically, we actually couldn't get the website to load at all, and we got the same exact "Currently Unavailable" blurb. It just seems like a ridiculous amount of down-time for an agency that clearly prefers its clients to use their services online…

Now that you mention it though, I think I will go for a walk. :laugh

Chocolate is what you need, or Ben and Jerry's ice cream. ( after your walk of course!)

Hi, I had the same issue, I moved from Syria to Jordan and I was willing to change the location. I emailed the customer service and got the following answer:

"We are no longer using the profile section of the online services so it will not be able to be updated and you will not require it to be updated to submit anything."

Do we owe you for a big chocolate ? Cheeeeers :o)
