Me and my husband have just moved over to Auckland (about 4wks ago) at the moment we are in the Kohi area but we are looking to move to the North Shore (Browns Bay/Mairangi Bay-ish) soon.

Im new to this forum thing - ive hijacked my husbands profile..and was wondering if there was a baby/toddler group that regularly meets up? We have an 11 month boy.

I know there is alot in the area for babies etc was just wondering if other mums were in the same boat as me!

Hi, I'm not sure if there are any forum meet ups near you but there will be community mother and toddler playgroups. The group I attend is probably a bit too far for you as its in Devonport but I'm sure there will be toddler groups in the Browns Bay area.

If she doesn't spot this send mgbridges a PM, she lives BB way, she's got an older son, but I'm sure can ask around for you.

I would have thought both Albany and Takapuna will be in easy reach of where you end up and you should be able to find some stuff there also. As well as talking to Plunket check out the local libraries they nearly always have pre-schooler activities advertised.
