well,
after all of the ups and downs and waiting around, I finally got an email from my case worker stating that I have been accepted for WTR (I already knew this would be the case as I need registration as an electrician in NZ) and that I would be getting an invitation to apply in the post in the next few days!

That, along with a possible job offer in Rotorua, makes a good week to me :nice1
