Under the points indicator, the question 'Do you a have a recognised basic New Zealand qualification?' Does this mean a qualification that was obtained in NZ? or a qualification that is recognised from the list of edcuational institutes??

it deffo means one that was obtained via study in nz as I found to the cost of 5 points!

Be aware that the bonus points you gain for being in a area of skill shortage, you only gain if you have a job offer. The quick calc does not explain this very well, but when you fill out the long version (its free as well) it blocks the points.
