We received an email from our CO this morning telling us that she has granted our application. WooHoo!
We just had the interview on Tuesday so it was fairly quick from interview to a decision.
Now the waiting is finally over and we can start booking flights for our monster farewell tour. Should be arriving in Christchurch at the beginning of June. Too late to catch any Crusaders matches but the ski fields should be opening not long after we get there.

Thanks guys. Even though we were realistic about the time scales involved (Lindsay said end of Feb, I guessed mid March, today is a nice compromise) the waiting was still horrible. You just never know when you will get the news. But at last the day as finally come. Phew.

congrats! that's good news for me, too, because i just had my interview last Thursday. My CO said it would take up to 3 weeks to get approval from her manager after she would (probably) approve my application.
