I am new here, i have some questions, i submitted EOI with 145 points and it got selected in Mid February. I got contacted by an officer working on my case that he needs a copy of my Masters degree diploma and transcripts and I sent it back to him. Will I be sent ITA package?? how long does it take? I kinda prepared all docs required for ITA. How long will it be before they make a decision.please advise.

Hi Bibo

I'm not an expert here, someone may come along and help you better. But from what I know, they may be looking at your Master's degree diploma/transcripts to see if they are genuine and decide from there.

After your EOI has been selected, it needs to say "Decision Successful" before you will be sent the ITA package. Our EOI was selected 25 Feb and was successfully decided on 16 Mar. So as you can see it takes at least 2 weeks because they need to verify your claims on the EOI you've submitted.

Hi Bibo and welcome.

As long as your degree paperwork is in order and your case officer has no other queries then your application will proceed to the next stage. Without a job offer you can expect some time to pass before you are processed however, but given that you have a case officer assigned already this should not hopefully be too long and you should be kept informed by them of any updates to your status.

If they have requested documentation before the ITA gets sent you should probably comply and send it to them? maybe they will accept a certified copy or something so that your paperwork for ITA can stay together?
