Hi all,

As someone who has recently scraped in with 100 points I have been trying to work out how long EOI verification will take.

With no job offer and based on the following, I'm assuming it will be later rather than sooner (much later) !

I think there have been 16 pool selections to date.

On 18-Aug 50% of selected EOI's had been verified (3642 of 7283)

On 01-Sep 43% of selected EOI's had been verified (3748 of 8717)

On 15-Sep 41% of selected EOI's had been verified (3984 of 9718)

Verifying 3984 EOI's over 32 weeks equates to around 125 a week.
With almost 4000 EOI's awaiting verification I think we may be in for a bit of a wait!

The letter from Singapore says 6-8 weeks, various posts on this Forum say 12-13 weeks.

My estimate says April - July 2005 for those of us selected 1st September :wah !

Someone please show me what I've missed and cheer me up!

Hi Tony,

We too were selected on Sept 1 and are still waiting. The letter from NZIS says 4 - 8 weeks but with no job offer it would involve interviews I was told.

The last two weeks seemed like ages! I hope you are wrong and do not have to wait till July 2005! :(

Depressingly your calculations match that of NZIS !
They told one person 6 to 9 months.
I'm hoping you're both wrong !
