Just thought i would say once again we have had another successful NW meet. Unfortunately one or two were missing(fact finding trips to NZ the reason) but that didn't stop us from having a good chinwag and a few beers. Nice to see 4 new faces to our little group, Neil and Alison(kiwidollie) and their offspring Sam and Rosie. Nice to put a face to that voice Neil.
Hope we all had a good time and look forward to the next(should be in NZ really) Talking of the next one. As we have had interest from KD17 and a date was mentioned by them, i suggest Sunday 2nd May(bank holiday 3rd). This will give us a chance to say bye to Diny(unfortunately PB won't be available).
Anybody wishing to tag along for the next meet don't hesitate.

Its good to hear you had such a good time. Does Diny usually post some pics?
We can only make the 4th May I'm afraid as we will be around Norfolk way until that time, we have a very tight schedule. My daughter is 18 and we are having some family celebrations.
But don't wait on us if that date is not convenient.

Agree totally Kim, had a lovely afternoon with all of you. Great to check progress & dates; share experiences etc. The weather was kind too, with our kids of varying ages running in and out of the place as they pleased.
Think the pub is getting used to us - wonder what they think of the re-arranged furniture :uhoh wish we had that on camera :laugh Jo B - you really missed a right old laugh today. But then again, maybe you & yours are visiting with Linda & Ali as we 'speak'.
Need to check your calendar though - think Sunday is the 1st of May. That would suit us perfectly, as it's Lianne's birthday & party the following weekend. We'll need to check with Keith & Debby though to see what suits them, as they're not often over from the Isle of Man.
So who's posting today's photo's then??? Should be some great ones.
Hugs to all.

OK Keith & Debby - looks like we were posting at the same time. :nice1
Wednesday 4th of May is fine by me, and possibly for Diny & Marie too. But could be a bit more of a problem for those of us still working. Let's see what responses come back and we can decide on a location that suits all.

That's fine Babette, thanks.
We would be happy to meet who ever could be around on that date.
We don't come over often (as you said) so it would be nice to meet up if at all possible.
Thanks for your consideration.
:yes :yes

Nice meeting the gang as per usual - lots of itchy feet now and I think today gave us just the right amount of encouragement to proceed with our application and "go for it".

Brilliant day (yet again). Great to catch up.
Yeah - I have pics but have been unable to get near the pc since getting home 'cos Mark has been playing some war game on-line with his mate in Auckland. Anyway - once he goes to sleep I'm going to hide his annorak so tomorrow he won't be able to play !!!!!!!!
Will get the pics posted in the morning.
I'm not too sure about May 1st as I'm helping out my sister that day with a catering job but will keep you posted.
Pics to follow.

It was great to see you all again folks. Well done to the guys for doing the childminding (well - sitting and drinking at an outside table while all the kids played in the playground), which allowed us girls to have a really good childfree time. Maybe next time we'll return the favour .... but I wouldn't count on it if I were you :laugh

You're all very lucky to be able to meet up like that. It must be wonderful to talk to people who actually care about your plans  Y'know what I mean - they don't get that glazed look when you say "a Place in the Sun is in Auckland tonight" and you know you really should keep it to yourself but it's all you can think about so you slip up. :laugh
