As time rolls on (a whole two weeks) and I am getting no responses to my job applications I am now about to downgrade the positions I am applying for. Unfortunately these will not be positions I can use to apply for PR so will have to wait until something comes along with the right job title or an accredited employer.
So, in order to stay in NZ beyond my current one year BUNAC work permit I would likely try for a GWV. My question is if I am already in a job and have been for a number of months what is the criteria as far as proving there is no-one to be found to do the job? With the possibility of having been in the position for some time surely this proof would be somewhat impossible to obtain? What then would the process be?
Can you tell I'm starting to panic? money is going to start drying up soon and I have two cats relying on me back in the UK to bring them over to their Mummu (yes I am a tragic mad cat lady).
