Hi everyone, I need some advice please. I am in NZ on a visitor visa attempting to secure employment in order to facilitate and fast track our permanent residency. Up to now I have been straight up with all of the recruiters and job applications stating that I am on a visitor visa.
I am not sure but it is possible that when they see it in my cover letter they just ignore me or my application...
Please could all you worldly people advise me on how you approached this should you have been in a similar position.
I will appreciate all of your responses.
Thanks
Jeremy

You're not the only one being ignored! And I have a one year permit and still can't get any responses, I think it comes down to a slower job market at the moment.
I wish I knew the secret to getting a positive response, I'd certainly pass it on.

Thanks for the replys, I am in Accounting / Finance with a broad spectrum of experience over various industries.
I agree that the market is slow at the moment and will just keep plugging away.
Thanks again.
