If you send and expression of interest and it is accepted , is there a time period in which you must then send your application ?

So as far as i know its: 1 send EOI
2 recieve ITA (time untill this must be sent unknown)
3 send ITA
4 successful notification (12 months to move to NZ)

You have 4 months to return your completed ITA (unless you apply for an extension).

thanks Ian,

we are looking to arrive in NZ late 2010 early 2011

maybe we should send EOI soon then or later this year?

I suppose if you waited the full time periods possible , with processing times it could take 2 years to complete the move?

(that could be a good thing if you need time to sell house etc)

depending on your points, keep an eye on the pool selection as the EOI is only valid for 6 months.
