Which threw me for a second!!
Inside was a letter dated the 22 March 2005 (arrived 06 April 2005 pretty poor by anyones standard), the letter said congratulations you've been selected from the pool dated the 16 March 2005 etc etc The EOI will now be sent to London for checking etc and you may be offered an ITA. :P
So it would appear to be true that they are using numerous offices to expedite EOI's.
Is it usual to get a letter or is it a quirk of different offices?
Anyway, anyone else get one? What happens next?
Another rung climbed :nice1

Hayden,
we got a letter from New Zealand, about 2 weeks after our EOI was accepted (submitted/accepted online in December). We had already had an email, and our status was updated on the website, so I think the letter was just a formality.
Our ITA was sent from the London office (I think the letter said that our details had been passed to London).

John.

PS For timings, check the thread in 'the Lounge'

Hi Hayden,

I got a letter too, only to find out a few months later that I didn't qualify because my points didn't tally to the required 10o but instead it was only 90. :wah

The EOI was selected on 23rd Dec 2004, and I only got a response from them on 22nd March 05!!

Best of lukc for you though. Regards. :nice1

Hi Hayden,
Pleased to tell you that there's nothing unusual about receiving the letter from NZIS Singapore, many of us (maybe even most?) have had the same letter at some time.

Think they have started to speed things up a bit, if the indications on this forum are anything to go by. You should here within the next month or so whether they are going to send you an ITA, which will then come from the London NZIS office.

You've got through to the next phase, well done you :nice1 Now you'll need to apply some patience :wah

Yep, when in UK our letter also came from Singapore... they may have a fulfilment/mailing centre there.

I'll second that Hayden - but once you've finally posted it off your then stuck in a limbo land of 'will they let us in?' for what seems like months on end :wah

All the best with everything,

Emily

Hi Hayden, good to see you didn't have to wait too long for the ITA :nice1 Best of luck with getting all your 'evidence' together. As said above, it's a really strange feeling when you hand it all over at the post office . . .
