Well it has been a long time coming and a lot of worry if we had done the right thing or not coming to NZ without jobs, as OH has finally landed not one but the choice of 4 jobs :D.

One here with Hutt Council (going to take this one) and the choice of 3 with Skycity up in Auckland.

Just want to say to anyone up in Auckland that there is IT jobs going with Skycity the money is not great but a start, there is 2 going now and 1 coming up in June/July.
OH has got to inform them tomorrow that he has excepted the Wellington.

Good luck to everyone who is in the same position we have been in as we know what a hard struggle it is at the moment so good luck.:)

could you kindly give a bit more detail on what kind of job your OH get and, what is the another vacancy available on June/July?

A brief idea is good enough, for example, developer, networking, system administrator...etc

If you go on Seek and put in Skycity for jobs they should be there also the June/July one is not advertised yet so just keep a look out for it is for IT help desk analyst support (i think this is it)not great money only $48.000.
Just checked seek there is also a IT team leader role there OH did have interview for this one but they thought he didn't have the experience they where looking for so offered him the help desk analyst jobs that are available.

OH job here in Welly is IT support team leader which is a lot better pay than the Auckland jobs. OH is asleep at moment to get the proper job titles sorry,
