So OH found out you need teaching credentials even to tech at private school in NZ. So he is on to plan B which is to find a natural resources job or post doc and do the one year certification once we move there. At least he qualifies under another short term skills need. So where is the best place to look for jobs or post docs or university jobs?

Hi, I'm looking for post-docs too. For academia look at seek.co.nz education-university or try their individual web sites. Also try the crown research institutes which cover all sorts of sciences. The best thing I have found is to contact interesting groups with a CV. Grants are not common at the moment so you may have to be flexible about your field unless you try and get your own money. Hope this helps, Cherie.

Can try seek.co.nz but I see a lot of postdoc and lecturer jobs on the university websites. I'm not actually looking for those so I don't know if there is another place to advertise those
