Hi,

We got interviewed last week but had already bought the air tickets for visiting NZ early next month. (Just for fun / recee thingy.) CO mentioned might take a month to get back to us about our final status.

Is it safe to visit NZ while we are waiting for our results? Any rules / fine prints that might get us into trouble?

i had an email from our CO saying it was OK for us to go in on visitors visas.
we have return flights though so worth checking as it might be OK one way if you have evidence of funds to return if not granted PR.

you're perfectly fine to visit NZ, your CO is most likely to send you an email with your update

if you are worried about missing their contact for any reason you can let them know you will be on holiday for certain dates.
