Christchurch Local Removal Company Recommendation?

We will be moving exactly 1.9 km at the end of next month. Any recommendations for a good removal company to help us with this? I have heard favorable things about the following: Canterbury Movers, Arthur Paine Removals. Any experience with these guys?
Thanks much!

Made an appointment with Canterbury Movers to get an estimate for our move. The guy didn't show up. When I called later, he (Pat) explained that he had been in an important meeting that ran long. He claimed that he tried to call but that was a bald-faced lie (he had two numbers for us and neither was engaged). The worst part was that he expected us to understand. Only a form apology offered. Scratched from the list...

Got a quote through today for a move in Kapiti - almost had heart failure.
1750 dollars for a straight move (where we have packed) of a distance of about 5k's. If they pack things it would be close to 2900 !!! This is not wrapping to 'international move standards' which would add another 1k on top.
Insurance is an extortionate amount on top of all these figures.
