thank you everyone for your good wishes and support over the last few months. the medical issue was driving me mad and it was so good to let off some steam and be in contact with others who had jumped that hurdle before us.

After feeling stunned at the speed things moved over 2 days and then getting PR within the day, the reality has set in and we are going from excitement at the adventure to thinking "oh s..t this is it". It has taken just over a year since we first set the ball rolling to now................so much waiting and then suddenly, its in the bag!

we can't blame NZIS for any dragging time scales anymore, it is now all up to us at this end to get this show on the road! we are spreading the word that the house needs to go. estate agents arrive next week to fight over it. I feel sad about that too, it is in such a beautiful location and we are so lucky to live in a house like this and all we want to do it get rid of it asap!

We were sitting in the garden here a few days ago, agreeing that it's a place we'd be perfectly happy to end our days in, IF the NZ family connection hadn't come into the picture. Very mixed feelings on that particular aspect of this process.
